Step 1

Don't make your home purchase based on EMOTIONS!!!  Take the time to earmark this significant decision with the respect it deserves.  Rather this is your first home or your fifth, this decision has no less significant of an impact!   A few things you really need to take into consideration when selecting your new HOME...

 

  • The "pride" exhibited or NOT exhibited by the neighboring homes.

  • Ownership vs. Rent ratios in the community.

  • How PROACTIVE is the HOA?  Will your neighbor get away with painting their house PINK with YELLOW Butterflies? 

  • Traffic / Growth in the Area.

  • Potential environmental, aerial or location disadvantages?

  • Historical home values in the community.

  • Standings of the community's schools.

  • ARE YOU PREPARED TO BUY???

The list goes on and on!  YES.... That's A LOT to take into consideration while still trying to work, strategize a move and ensure financial logistics are in place to MAKE said move!

Well I have GREAT NEWS!!!!  You hired me and took a great deal of that off your plate!  So breathe, and let's move to Step 2.
 

Step 2

Before we "start shopping"...It's time I help you access your buying needs and ability.  Upon establishing your real estate needs and goals.... Let's ensure you we can get you INTO the home you DESIRE.  That starts with getting you PRE-APPROVED!

Did you know MANY sellers won't accept showing requests from a "prospective buyer" that hasn't been pre-approved.   Most will ABSOLUTELY not entertain an "offer" without a Pre-Approval attached!  So what we need to do now, is ENSURE your buying power by obtaining Loan Pre-Approval BEFORE we go out and start your home search and YOU fall in love with a home you may not qualify to purchase.  So  before setting out, we need to narrow down the RIGHT price point...  and THEN find that PERFECT home!!!

Step 3

You've been PRE-APPROVED!!! Now it's time to have some FUN!!!  Things to consider when shopping for your new home.  1. What kind of a lifestyle do you and / or your family lead?  2. Will school standings be a factor in your home search?  3. Will your work commute need to be taken into consideration or do you work from home?  4. Do you entertain a lot?   5. Will an aging parent / parents need to call your place home one day?  That's why we'll start by narrowing down the features, functionality, space and layout that will most closely fits your NEEDS and the way you LIVE!
